Recent Hotel Garden Review: "Mid-way through our Milan a€“ Venice a€“ Florence a€“ Rome vacation, we decided to take a couple of days off the tourist path to catch our breath. This was a very good decision. Siena became our favorite stop, and the Hotel Garden, our favorite hotel. This very nice property has a lovely hillside view of the city, but is far enough from the city scene to be quiet and restful. The food is good, the staff is excellent, and the prices are fair. A 5-7 Euro taxi (or a 1 Euro bus ticket) will take you anywhere in the city you want to go. When you want to leave the city behind, you have a nice pool in a garden setting awaiting. Highly recommended."

Tuscany’s most distinctive and enticing provincial capital, Siena appears to be frozen in time. The glorious medieval core remains a itrecento/i masterpiece, cascading down three hills from the fan-shaped Piazza del Campo. Highlights include the Palazzo Publico (town hall) and the stripy Duomo with its marble floors.
